Majestic Images’s make up tips
Occasionally, I like to have some of my business partners and especially the people I work with regularly, put a few pointers onto my blog for all you brides that are looking for just a little more help and advice. Please contact any of these partners at anytime to ask questions.
So Majestic Images would like to present Beke Beau/ make up Artist.
Eli has asked me to share some advice with his blog readers, and since this is the time of year for engagements, here are my top three bridal beauty tips to consider once the ring is on:
1. Book a make-up artist and hair stylist early. Go to top wedding sites like The Knot and Style Me Pretty’s Little Black Book to see who’s available in your area, or ask your photographer who he/she thinks is good. I get so many requests for dates that are already taken, and my heart goes out to brides who aren’t able to secure their first choice in stylists.
2. Decide on the look for your bridal party. If polished hair and make-up are important to you, consider paying all or part of the hair and make-up fees for your bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law-to-be. They’ll feel pampered and you’ll be much happier with your group photos.
3. Avoid enhancements like lash extensions and spray tans. They tend to look artificial, and a good make-up artist should be able to give you the (temporary) lash look you want, as well as a pretty glow. If you insist on a spray tan, experiment well ahead of time to make sure you like the formula the spa or salon uses, and that you’re happy with the outcome.
You can visit my website at www.bekebeau.com for more information about my services. My very best wishes to the brides of 2011, and many thanks to Eli for inviting me to share these tips!
Here is just an examples of 2 weddings that Beke and I worked on together.
